Biography

David Levien, MD, MBA, FACS, FACPE has practiced surgery for 33 years and served 20 years as Chairman of Surgery and 12 as Program Director of Surgical Residencies. He achieved the faculty rank of Clinical Professor of Surgery at Jefferson Medical College and New York Medical College. After receiving his BA at The Johns Hopkins University, he graduated cum laude from The Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training as Chief Resident at the University of Massachusetts Hospital and completed his Colorectal Surgery Fellowship at The Ferguson Clinic.
