Andrew W. Gottschalk, M.D. trained in sports medicine at both Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic. His extensive experience includes treating athletes of all levels of competition, including those in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NCAA Division I. As the Ochsner Health System’s Director of Primary Care Sports Medicine, Dr. Gottschalk serves as Head Medical Team Physician for the NBA New Orleans Pelicans. Dr. Gottschalk is also an avid writer, his multiple publication projects include his regular newspaper column, “The Sports Medicine Doctor.” Dr. Gottschalk is the current Musculoskeletal Health Editor for the medical journal Evidence-Based Practice.

Ceo of Medical Insurance Consulting stp Cannavò & Partners srl and Medexpert srl, he is President of the Scientific Society Melchiorre Gioia and General Secretary of Ceredoc (Confédération Européenne d'Experts en Evaluation et Réparation du Dommage Corporel). In 2000 he was Component of the European Parliament Member Rothley's Team for drafting the European Barème. 2002- 2003 Member of the Ministry of Health's Commission to create a Medical Table System for assessing Personal Injuries from 1 to 9 points, according to Law 57, 5 March 2001. 2004-2005 Member of the Ministry of Health’s Commission to create a Medical Table System for assessing Personal Injuries from 10 to 100 points, according to Law 273, 12 December 2002. 2004 Contributor to drafting the first example of Electronic Medical Report, developed by Medexpert and patent registered in Italy.

Legal Medicine

Awatif Juma Al Bahar is Medical Director, Senior Consultant, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology at the Dubai Gynecology & Fertility Center, DUBAI HEALTH AUTHORITY. After completing her graduation, she specialized in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the German Board, Koln and has a membership in Endocrine and Infertility from Academic University in Bonn. Awatif had been selected in 2002 in Dubai Excellency Programme. Her name is mentioned in the U.A.E Book of Special Personalities of All Fields (i.e. Medicine, Politics, Art etc.). She has been awarded by his highness Amro Mosa in 2004 as to be the leader in medicine and social services. She was awarded as hero of health care in 2012 by his highness ruler of Ajman. She has held multiple posts in various capacities in the OBS/GYN and is currently the director of the IVF Board of the Ministry of Health of UAE. She is the Chairperson of the Emirates Obs/Gyne & Fertility Forum (EOFF) and a regular speaker on U.A.E activities in mother and child health via media – television, radio, ladies association, universities etc. She has many publications on poly cystic ovaries and infertility.

Reproductive Endocrinology

Clive Tobutt is a Registered Nurse (Adult & Mental Health Nursing and Practice Educator). He completed a Post-graduate Diploma in Addiction Studies at the Institute of Psychaitry, London University and an MSc in Sociology (Health & Illness) from London South Bank University. He is currently a PhD student at the Univertsity of Winchester. He is a teaching Fellow (Mental Health Nursing) at Surrey University and a Senior Lecture at the University of Winchester. He has published 8 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an Editorial Board Member of the Advances of Dual Diagnosis Journal.

Yoshiko Hasebe has been working at Nayoro City University School of Health Science. She is a professor of Adult Nursing, and has her expertise in evaluation and passion in improving the nursing practice. She has published many textbooks and DVDs about nursing arts in Japan.

Silverio Di Rocca has completed his Graduation in Dentistry, Post-graduate degree in Functional Orthopaedics both from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has also done a degree in Dentistry and Prosthetic at the University of Turin, Italy and a Doctorate in Dentistry and Prosthetic at University of Turin, Italy. He is the Director of the M P R International School, Vice President International representative and Founder of API Swiss (International Association of Posturology Switzerland). He is also a Professor in Amocoac Diplomate in Mexico and COMEI, College of Dentistry in Mexico, Associate Professor in I.C.O.M (International College of Osteopathic Medicine) Milan, Italy and an International Honorary member of AMOCOAC

Physiotherapy

Dr. Alata moved to the USA where he completed his High School, and higher education at the University of Michigan. He graduated with High Distinction; majoring in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy. After his graduation he earned his Doctor of Medicine; M.D. degree from Ross University School of Medicine. His career focus was on medical education and training. He held the position of Medical Programs Director at a private institution for over 4 years. Dr. Alata then held other positions including Medical Practice Manager for a chain of successful primary care outpatient urgent care centers in Michigan, USA. Dr. Alata’s acculturation in the UAE dates back to early 2015. He first held the position of Business Manager for Aster Grace Nursing and Physiotherapy, located in Abu Dhabi. Currently, Dr. Alata holds the position of the Medical Director for Via Medica International Healthcare.

Medical education and training

Osman is a Family Medicine Consultant, Head of Family Medicine Department at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai & Ex co-director of family medicine residency program at Dubai Health Authority (DHA). He has graduated from the American University Hospital, Beirut, Lebanon in June 1985 and holder of Fellowship of Royal College of General Practitioners (FRCGP) in U.K. & Arab Board in Family Medicine specialty. He is lecturer, clinical trainer, public speaker and medical conferences organizer who believes in the great potentials of family physician role in community. His expertise ranges from academic, administrative to clinical experience with main contributions in his career including empowering the concept of prevention in family practice through creating practical wellness packages, travel & adult immunization clinics for patients and updating medical knowledge of family physicians through organizing medical conferences & workshops in addition to enhancing patient health education processes resulting in gaining a lots of colleagues' & patients' love & appreciation over years.

Family Medicine

Dr. Muhammad Ajmal Zahid of Professor of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait University. He obtained his basic medical degree from the King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan in 1975 and membership from the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK in 1985. His areas of interest include psychosocial correlates of severe mental illness, workplace violence among the health care professionals, and psychiatric morbidity in general hospital medical outpatient and primary health care settings. In addition he has been involved in development of the undergraduate psychiatric curriculum. His achievements include development of (A) a somatic inventory to identify psychiatric morbidity in the physically ill patienets and (B) a violence scale to estimate the prevalence and the degree of violence among the medical health professionals. He has authored 35 publications and is recipient of numerous research and academic awards.
