I started my carrier as a consultant anesthesiologist subspecialized in cardiac anesthesia and pain management from Tufts and Harvard University, USA. I acquired a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Washington University, St Louis, Missouri, the USA.
My experience in working for startup healthcare organizations like Kingdom hospital, International Medical Center and King Fahad Medical city has been the most influential. Throughout my professional carrier, I have developed in-depth experience in different facets of the healthcare industry. This rich experience has provided me with the opportunity to build up a tremendous wealth of practical knowledge, operational experience, and self-confidence.
I held many senior management positions for both public and private healthcare organizations. I have a long track-record in leading healthcare organizations through corporate restructuring, business transformation, strategy development, and implementation, development of market entry strategies, business expansions, business process re-engineering, leading start-ups hospitals, mergers and acquisitions, operational due diligence, management of various PPP and PFIs engagements and healthcare project management. I also developed extensive experience in risk assessment, implementation of industry best practices, facility design, quality, financial and performance improvement.
One distinct side of my carrier, that all my professional engagements were task-oriented and outcome focused. My success is defined by producing measurable results and sustained achievements.
Over the last ten years, I became more involved in implementing and promoting corporate governance culture and became a member of many boards of directors for many healthcare companies operating in different countries. My primary role focuses on the implementation of corporate governance matrix and leading healthcare organizations in multiple positions.
